Marana Flight School was founded in 2019 by father son duo, Keith and Cody Bowman. They created the flight school in order to give effective flight training at an affordable price.
Marana Regional Airport, Identified as KAVQ is a non-towered general aviation airport located 15 miles northwest of Tucson. In 1943 the airport was constructed for the Army Air Corp as as a training airport during World War II. Located near Class Bravo, Charlie, and Delta airspace it gives exposure to all types of air traffic.
